On Thursday, November 8th, Steve Stevens demonstrated his playing style and his use of guitar synths at the V-Guitar Experience event at Guitar Center in Hollywood, California. On stage with Steve were the GR-55 guitar synth and the G-5 Stratocaster®. David Fishof discusses Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp‘s history and it’s new permanent home in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Hotel. Since 1997, the camps have taken place in different cities in the United States, England, and the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. Robert “Bubby” Lewis is not only an incredibly talented composer, he is also a killer bass player. In this video, Bubby gets funky as he demonstrates one of his favorite patches in the Roland VB-99 V-Bass System.
Aside from being a touring musician, Bubby also produces and composes music for Marvel comics and FUNimation Entertainment. As a bass player, the VB-99 provides a wide spectrum of sounds that allow him to produce music without restrictions. A self-proclaimed bass and “comic nerd”, the pairing of both of Bubby’s passions is a dream come true. More
