Tone Quality That Inspires

With its 32-bit/96 kHz processing, the GT-1000 offers audio quality that outshines other units in its class. And while other manufacturers use off-the-shelf processors, the GT-1000’s proprietary new DSP engine was designed in-house specifically for music applications. When you plug in, you’ll feel and hear a richness and responsiveness that completely blurs the lines between digital and analog. This puts a truly organic experience under your fingers, making it easy to dial in tones that are dynamic, satisfying, and inspiring to play.

The BOSS GT-1000 Guitar Effects Processor features a large display, six switching knobs for editing sounds, and 10 footswitches with assignable functions and LED colors.

Next-Level Performance with AIRD

The GT-1000 debuts BOSS’s breakthrough AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics) technology, bringing a new level of musical response and flexibility to digital guitar processors. Based on the comprehensive Tube Logic concept behind the acclaimed Katana, Waza, and Blues Cube amplifiers, AIRD is a complete interactive system that provides optimum performance in every application.

The GT-1000’s AIRD amplifiers live and breathe like real tube amps, offering feel and dynamic response not found in previous processors. And with the GT-1000’s AIRD Output Select functionality, you’ll always achieve great sound and consistent results with any setup, from standard guitar amps to full-range playback systems. Using the separate Main and Sub outputs, you can even optimize the sound for two destinations at once, such as a guitar amp input and a direct feed to a house PA.

Direct Recording and User IR Loading

The GT-1000 is equipped with a multi-channel USB audio interface for flexible computer recording and efficient re-amping. A dedicated Recording mode features a variety of built-in speaker and microphone types, enabling you to get great direct tones for any music style. It’s also possible to import your own WAV-format speaker impulse responses with the GT-1000 IR Loader software, which will be available in May 2018.

Outstanding BOSS Effects

Of course, the GT-1000 features a massive selection of world-class guitar effects for processing your tones. BOSS’s Multi-Dimensional Processing (MDP) is on board, along with advanced modulation, delay, and reverb algorithms from the popular DD-500, MD-500, and RV-500 pedals. You’re able to configure amps and effects with numerous routing options, and achieve lightning-fast patch switching and delay carryover thanks to the powerful BOSS DSP engine.

Remote Editing with Bluetooth

Via the large, stage-ready display and intuitive interface, it’s simple to dial up sounds from the GT-1000’s panel. But when you take advantage of the processor’s first-in-class Bluetooth® functionality, editing and managing sounds is even easier. Using your smartphone or tablet, you can wirelessly control the GT-1000 with the dedicated BOSS Tone Studio app, enabling you to tweak tones on the go without having to bend over and edit on the hardware. And by recording a sample riff in the GT-1000’s looper, you can walk around and adjust tones from a broader perspective.

You’ll also be able to work with the GT-1000 via USB and a computer with the upcoming BOSS Tone Studio for GT-1000 software (available in May 2018).
